Approach
Design thinking with an architect's discipline behind it.
Research and user understanding decide what to build. Enterprise architecture decides whether it survives. Both, in one engagement, is the whole point of working with us instead of two vendors.
The method
A decision-led path, adapted to scope.
01 · Audit
Map the process people actually run
Shadow the team, access the systems, interview the people who handle exceptions. The written process is a starting rumour, not the truth.
02 · Redesign
Re-engineer before writing code
Remove the hand-offs that exist only because tools don't talk. Decide which steps stay human and which an agent may run, with authority limits.
03 · Build
A domain model, then a bespoke system
Compare buy, configure, integrate or stop before selective build. Agree entities, access and acceptance where custom work is justified.
04 · Run
Forward-deployed until it holds
Operating support is an agreed option: confirm staffing, checkpoints, failure handling and ownership before any production phase.
05 · Measure results and costs
Measure against the agreed baseline
The audit set a baseline and a stop rule. We report against both, and the documentation is the system that was built.
Principles
Four rules we don't negotiate on.
- Say what it isn't
- Every system has limits. Publishing them is what makes the rest of the claims credible to a serious buyer.
- No estimate theatre
- If we can't scope it honestly, the first phase is a scoped discovery that produces the scope.
- One system of record
- Name the authoritative source for each record and design reconciliation where copies or integrations are necessary.
- Boring where it counts
- Novel architecture is reserved for the part of the system that is genuinely novel. Everything else is proven.
Our promise
We compare buying, configuring, integrating and selectively building against an agreed workflow baseline and operating-cost scenario.
- • No return figure is promised before the audit.
- • Sample reports and calculators are illustrative, and labelled as such.
- • We do not invent clients, logos, testimonials or results.
Stop rule. If the audit shows off-the-shelf software fits, or the process should not be automated, we tell you and stop — the audit is still yours.

The first session is the method, compressed.
Discuss one decision and agree scope, possible outputs and availability before a quote.
