Many decisions stall between the review meeting and the work. An assistant can help carry them forward, but only if it is designed as a long-running, bounded process rather than a chat.
What has to be true
- Durable task state, with checkpoints people can pause, cancel and resume.
- Bounded retries, idempotent actions, timeouts and spend budgets.
- Identity and access checks; voice alone does not establish authority.
- Human approval for consequential actions, and purpose-limited audit evidence rather than blanket raw logging.
Pricing models are not value
Seats, consumption, outcome and hybrid pricing all exist. Consumption measures activity, not results. An outcome fee only makes sense after accepted result, quality window, reopen and double-count rules, exclusions, attribution, human review and spend caps are written down.
A model saying done is a claim. System evidence plus acceptance is a result.
